Since its inception in 2000, the Warren Street Festival has proudly stood as the premier African American heritage celebration in our region, marking a remarkable 25 years of continuous tradition this year. Founded by Darlene Swain and a dedicated group of visionaries, the festival was born out of a deep commitment to honoring the contributions and vibrant history of the African American community, which is deeply woven into the heart of our town.
Over the past quarter-century, this cornerstone event has brought together individuals from all walks of life to celebrate, reflect, and connect.
